Town officials, plaza property owner, and architects presented revised plans at a community forum at the Heritage. Public interest was very strong with standing room only. The plans call for a mixed-use development of 163 apartments, retail shops along Water Street, and a CVS pharmacy at the corner of Water St. and Edgell Rd.
The Cecil Group presented findings and recommendations from the Village Center Study related to design, marketing and reinvestment, public realm improvements, and regulatory strategy. Residents were encouraged to provide input in an open forum, and also to discuss the issues with Town staff.
